Waterworks in Tallahassee

The food is amazing! We enjoyed it! They have outside patio seating.

They tend to support local music from FSU, even the more esoteric groups like the Early Music Ensemble. However, the service has declined drastically as of late. I was there tonight, and one of the girls was more interested in flirting with a select 2 guys at the bar than making sure the rest of the bar was taken care of while the other 2 bartenders were busy doing other tasks.

Don, the owner, consistently secures great and varied entertainment for Waterworks from the best in jazz to patio theatre. This place is a unique gem in the heart of midtown.

Pretty chill place. Some good beer, some cheap. One negative thing was that they ran out of two beers when we went.

Only gave it 2 stars mainly because it just wasn't my kinda of place.So I pull up on the scoot and notice there is a big screen projector set up on the patio outside, 'Great!' I think, I can catch a game while I enjoy a drink outside. Nope... It was the 'Golden Girls'. Not kidding. Go inside to a bar with all of 8 people in it and I guess they had all ordered a drink just as I walked in the door because it was a good 5 minutes before one of the 2 bartenders acknowledged me. 'I'll have an Old Fashioned' Nope... Didn't have the ingredients needed. Figured I'd bring it into this century... 'I'll take a Jaeger Bomb'. Nope... No Jaeger. This was at 11:30 on a Friday night, mind you. Give it a try though, it might be YOUR kinda bar... Not for me.

Waterworks maintains a consistent level of service. Poor. The decor could be really cool, but it's really starting to show its age and lack of anyone caring. So much potential, so little love.

Chill vibe and funky attitude in abundance

Such a great place for local flavor and quirkiness. It's not going to be everyone's thing, and that's what makes it great. Be sure to go on jazz night for an extra good time.

I really love a good tiki bar! I also love really great service. Waterworks lets me down every time due to exceptionally poor service. The atmosphere is kind of groovy, but many classic tiki cocktails are missing from the menu. High kitsch points, low service score.

Great friendly staff, cute little tiki bar with decor that's interesting and fun to look at. Great for meeting with friends and sitting down for a drink

Really unique bar with good drinks and beer options. They always have something cool going on and good music. The only downside is the slow service.

Amazing atmosphere. The choice of Amy Winehouse along with reasonable prices..... Awesomeness
